Should you wash gym clothes every time?
But if you work out hard, it will need washing every time. Many modern sportswear fabrics demand a low-temperature wash; however, that won’t get rid of the bacteria that can thrive on sweaty clothes. If you wash at lower than 40C, it is worth adding an antibacterial laundry cleanser.
What should you not wear when working out?
Barely-There Shirts and Vests – This isn’t bad gym etiquette per se, but it’s definitely not a good look. Any vest or tank top that is more holes than material is better left for comfortable at-home wear. Your clothing should either be light cotton or a synthetic material designed to absorb and wick away moisture.
